Back in my impressions of March, I hoped that the creators would manage to combine their iconic approach to the design of levels that can be passed in a hundred ways, with an unobtrusive, yet engaging narrative and enrich it with seemingly disparate elements of the popular shooter-collector genre. The vision of a primarily cooperative experience in an open city in New England did not appeal to the authors of Prey or Dishonored twice from the beginning, but in short, we all probably have to go through the experimental period. However, I got a brutal burn in the midday sun while waiting for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, a slight redness was caused by Vampyr a few years ago, and I regret to announce that while writing the following lines, I will also rub panthenol on the burns caused by exposure to Redfall. I’m a relatively simple girl, I see vampires and put on a show, or rather I’m able to squint both eyes and carefully look through sunglasses even at those projects that don’t look at all credible from the start. The latest game from one of my favorite studios, Arkane, has managed to raise some mild hopes, but above all, a solid dose of apprehension, in me since its announcement.
